Assistant Master Electrician (Apprentice) Mid-May to mid-October 2008 (some flexibility) Responsibilities: Assist Lighting Designer, participation of hang, focus, execution of five to seven lighting plots, pre-production work, show maintenance, lighting crew supervision, some rehearsals, deck electrics. Must be able to work under pressure. Experience with lighting rigs of 200 units, moving lights, repair skills, board operation, focusing, ETC Express. Box Office Group Sales Associate Master Electrician May to mid-October 2008 Responsible for hanging, focus and execution of five to seven lighting plots; Pre-production work, light crew/overhire supervision, lighting equipment operation, repair, show maintenance, programming. Must be neat, efficient and accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment. Bachelors in Theatre or 2 years professional experience mounting lighting rigs of 200 units; Moving Light setup, troubleshooting (MAC 700s, Studio Colors,) programming (Hog, ETC Express, ETC Ion,) Paperwork (Lightwright, Excel) Vectorworks/CAD experience preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, work well in a high-energy environment and reports to the Costumer Supervisor.
