NAMT Annual Festival of New Musicals

We are thrilled to invite you to join us for the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) Annual Festival of New Musicals in New York City on October 22–23, 2026!

The festival features eight exciting new musicals in 45-minute staged reading presentations in front of an industry-only audience. This must-attend event brings together theatre producers, presenters, and developers from around the world to celebrate the future of these promising new musicals! 

Festival passes include admission to the Festival’s eight shows, happy hour on Thursday, and a closing party with the writers and composers on Friday evening. The shows for this year’s Festival have been announced, and you can learn more here.

Ogunquit Playhouse also offers unique ‘add-on’ opportunities, including a cocktail hour with Playhouse actors, leadership, and industry professionals on Wednesday, October 21, a special (to be announced) Broadway show, and lunch on Thursday, October 22 with a theatre insider.

FOR BOARD MEMBERS: NAMT is planning a SPECIAL BOARD TRACK which will include a KEYNOTE address on the morning of Wednesday, October 21, with Artistic and Executive Directors and a breakout session with other Board Members. You will want to arrive Tuesday, October 20. Cost and details TBA.

The cost of the experience is $2,400 per couple with OP exclusive experiences or $1,750 per couple for festival passes only. Travel and lodging is not included, and you need to make your own accommodations. NAMT lists partner hotels here.
