Ogunquit Playhouse Announces Auditions for the Holiday Production of Elf the Musical

Know a budding young thespian who lives in the Seacoast Area?

Now is their chance to star on one of New England’s finest stages in a musical based on the beloved film,
with a professional Broadway cast and creative team!

SEEKING:

NORTH POLE ELVES: Seeking children of all types and personalities to portray Santa’s Elves.  Should be no taller than 60”

MICHAEL: Male, any ethnicity, to play 12 years old.  Funny and smart, he quickly bonds with Buddy and is determined to share a great Christmas with his entire family.  Amazing singing voice up to an E.

Tech/Performance Location:
THE MUSIC HALL, 28 Chestnut Street, Portsmouth, NH 03801, November 25 – December 16, 2018

SONGS: Please prepare a song that shows personality and range. Your child can sing to a karaoke track, with a piano, or simply acapella! What matters most is personality and energy!

REHEARSAL/PERFORMANCE INFO:

Rehearsals begin on Tuesday, November 13th in Ogunquit, Maine. A rehearsal schedule is not set, but please note that we will accommodate school schedules to the best of our ability.

Elf The Musical runs for 3 weeks between Wednesday, November 28 – Sunday, December 16. If cast, your child will participate during 1 performance week within the 3 week run, totaling 8 consecutive performances. View the full performance schedule at www.themusichall.org

We will double cast the role of Michael – 2 boys will share the performance schedule evenly throughout the duration of the run.
