Ogunquit Playhouse is one of our nation’s cultural jewels and a cornerstone of America’s theatrical heritage. It has been in continuous operation since 1933 and housed in its present National Historic Register building since 1937. Since its beginnings it has showcased over 300 Broadway stage, television and film stars and is recognized nationally as producing the highest quality theatre, many of which debuted in Ogunquit and then went on to National Tours and the Broadway stage. Through its commitment to quality Ogunquit Playhouse continues to thrive as one of the largest non-profit, self producing performing arts organizations in New England. It attracts approximately 100,000 ticket buyers from Northern New England and beyond annually.

The 501(c)(3) not-for-profit foundation relies on the support of private, corporate and individual giving to help produce each musical as well its education and outreach programs.
